Think of it this way.......if you were a mall manager and saw some scary guy sitting down wearing a mask that conceals the identity (while also wearing knives on your fingers) - regardless of the fact that the character you're portraying is almost a national icon - he or she would <i>have</i> to question you and ask you to leave. For if he didn't, and you by chance would go on a killing spree -he would face massive charges for abandoning his own responsibility. A person concealing their identity is considered a red flag in public. Not to mention that the mall, his security agency, or even the local police department (if we was a cop) would be all liable for a major lawsuit from the families of anyone slain or injured in the melee.While these adult figures might seem like "pricks," they probably were just watching out for their own backs. After jackasses like the Cho Seung Hui (Virginia Tech) go off like a crazed nutball...I'm sure everyone will constantly be on an ever vigilant guard.If you still feel offended at being questioned when you really did nothing dangerous or threatening, try living a day in the shoes of an African-American or Arab-American in the wake of 9/11.
