That is why I was wondering about the most realistic plastic glove out there, for situations just like this. Metal display is fine for at home, but eventually it will get you in trouble with uptight law enforcement who have to enforce the laws. I would have walked away while pointing a couple of blades at him and said "Don't go to sleep tonight..." followed by a maniacal deep Freddy laugh.
