I read the book, interesting story... Anyways, I don't understand how this movie resembles religion in any way? Did angry Christians decide they needed something new to argue about, and decided to put down an athiest writer? This is a FICTIONAL fantasy novel. In no way did this author mean for anyone to believe this as true. What young child is going to read a 368 pg book? If parents don't want there young children seeing this, then they shouldn't take them, and if they are old enough to see movies by them selves, I'm sure they can tell the difference between fake and real. I think the movie is going to be rated PG13, based on it's complicated story and violence.Fantasy's are fake, everyone knows that. They all have strange, unrealistic ideas about them. Why should this one be an exception? I think people are getting the wrong idea that because there is a child as the main character, that his is a child's movie. What proof is there that this guy is trying to convert others to athiesm, or that there is any hint of Christianity being wrong at all? It's FICTION! Stop complaining!
