So seeing a fresh, younger Fred wouldnt be a bad idea imo.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndPuck, I agree with you entirely.If it's going to be a prequel more than a remake(which I sincerely hope they have the sense to do that)then a new actor has to be involved.With the right story this has the potential to be a very disturbing film,Freddy as a human was of course a serial killer of children,the worst kind of murderer.You could end up with a film like "Seven" with the nescassary supernatural overtones in the last half or so of the plot.Re Hannibal Rising, I agree with you once more in every way.The film had a period drama element to it ,which I liked,it also has left a convenient gap from Lecter arriving in the States to starting his killing spree up to being caught.That'll be another book/film of course,can't see Thomas Harris not taking that opportunity.
