OK, I've had a few PM's asking "what happened?".Want the long or short version? Short, ok then...The house I was living in, I moved to for two reasons. One, it had the living space my family needed and two, it had the work space that I needed.I rented the house through a rental company. The actual owners went through a divorce and liquidated their assets, my house being a part of that (along with the house next door). I tried absolutely everything under the sun to buy the house but in the end, it fell through. I rented the the only house I could around here but there is no working space. Making masks was what I did. I lost my house, my business and my car. I picked up the fist job I could. I met a guy that needed help selling furniture. He was a furniture peddler, going from state to state selling new furniture from the inside of a tractor trailer. He and I set out on the road for a week of selling. I hoped to come back with a good pay day. The week of selling turned into a four week trip and a whopping $550 pay day. I tried to keep my hopes up and went out a couple more times and almost long everything I had, including my wife and daughter. While in New Orleans, I had hoped to meet up with Tyson but he was pretty busy with the aftermath of Katrina. I was there for a couple weeks and seeing the devastation really made my troubles seem pretty small. I thought I would catch Bear on his way back from Florida while I was in Texas but he passed by.Getting back to the old house, for about a year or more my health had been declining. I've always hit the weights pretty hard and kept in good shape but it got to the point that I couldn't anymore. I wasn't sure why but I started feeling pretty bad. Anyway, when I was out on that truck trying to sell, it got really bad. I went to the doctor when I got back the first time for check up. He noticed my murmur. I've always had it but he said it sounded strange so he sent me to a cardiologist. (I'll try to slim this down a bit...)I have heart disease. It's called Hypertrophic cardio myopathy with obstruction. It's pretty nasty and, in my case, terminal. Stemming from my HOCM I have what's called Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome. No, I have no clue how long I have but my ventricular septum is enlarging pretty rapidly. My cardiologist had insisted on surgery and sent me to a surgeon after my heart cath (not fun). The surgeon insisted that surgery would only worsen my condition, if I made it through. They would rot the septum in a procedure called alcohol libation, in essence, giving me a heart attack. I lost my insurance and there is no way in hell that an insurance company would insure me for anything resembling an affordable price. With all the sh!t hitting at once, I thought I would lose my mind. I fought depression with meds. Pretty difficult time to go through and to shorten the story, I left some things out...I got lucky and met someone that hired me and I still work for today. He helped me financially and I worked to pay that off. He recently bought me a 55 gallon drum of latex that I'm also working to pay off.I'm not a fan of airing my laundry in public but this will be much easier than answering everyone that asks privately. I never wanted sympathy so I kept this off the boards. No one likes a sob story on the internet and I'm no different.. I know some of you are pretty pissed and I apologize to every one of you for keeping you hanging. I don't blame anyone for holding a grudge..Anyway, if you want to read up on my heart disease here is a link http://www.emedicine.com/med/topic290.htm
