Chad, yours looks like it was the real deal. Perhaps Factory X shipped some at the tail end with stands that did not have the name plate. I also emailed Heritage and they told me the stands had no name plates...kinda scared me off but perhaps I was wrong. The other company was the one that still shows Factory X but when asked told me they have "great quality" Chinese duplicates. The main reason I wanted the originals is because they were made by Windlass Steelcrafts in India, which is a phenomenal company in the realm of "battle ready" weapons........Larry
