But someone said that Nightmare gloves are more like a factory outlet with several people working on the gloves. Not sure if that is accurate or not.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndThats not true at all <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Rolleyes\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" /> Anders makes all his own gloves as well as other props and stuff and this is why it will take a longer time to get a glove from him.He normally has a fairly long wait list and this is because of the quality of his glove.Yes they are more expensive but he has been in this game for a lot longer and his gloves are one of the best available, Robert England even recommends him as they are good friends through Anders quality of work.Laser cut templates are generally mass produced to save the maker time meaning that they can sell them for that bit cheaper than some one who cuts the whole glove by hand.In my opinion there are only 2 glove makers that I would now deal with as far as accurate and quality goes and that isAnders Erikson from nightmare gloves and Ken Hasting from all things EvilThey are the best at doing these props now and there prices being more expensive than others reflects this. There have been a huge number of great glove makers quit the hobby over time due to the fact of cheap budget gloves dominating the market, these are now being modified into more accurate looking gloves than before with the new wave of glove makers coming threw, and I'm sure once the new glove makers have mastered there skills at making gloves as screen accurate as posible there prices too will go up to reflect there work that they put into them.$300 to me is not a lot of money for a glove and I'll tell you whyThe glove for that money should be one of the best replicas first off.The materials alone will cost around $100 per glove if not more depending on the materials usedThe time it has taken that person to perfect every technique required over the years to produce a top replicaand finally the amount of hard work and hours it has taken some one to bend, cut, solder, color and put together that glove. If you think of a good hourly wage for some one building gloves and then put the price of materials on top of that there is not a lot left over as your profit. This is why so many people give it up.
