Well here's my take on this. Freddy gloves are my passion more than any of the other collector stuff out there. I hate to say this because he posts on the boards, but we are all entitled to our own opinions. Personally, there are A LOT better gloves out there for just a little bit more cash. I've gotten to see one of knifegloves items up close and play with it for a bit and I didn't care for it. It doesn't have the attention to detail that a lot of other gloves have. The solder job on the one that I saw was very messy for a part one and the copper had actually turned to a kind of silver hue due to holding too much heat on the tips while applying the blades. If I were you, I'd get one from either Allthingsevil or Anders Eriksen...I'm not sure about allthingsevil now but I think his turn around has really picked up since he started getting back into it heavy. Anders will make you wait for a long time but in the end....most of his gloves are down right amazing. Here's the thing though Sirbad...I've noticed you posting in a few other topics wanting to get stuff that's equal to top end but your on a budget and in this hobby my friend that's just not possible. Here you literally get what you pay for. If someone is going to offer you a glove for $80.00, that's exactly what it is...an $80.00 glove. The kinds of gloves that Travis at Kruegear used to produce or the ones that Allthingsevil and Anders Eriksen makes are the best quality you can get but you will have to pay top dollar for them. I think Ken's (allthingsevil) gloves will run you a cool $200.00 now since he started using different materials, and an Anders glove will cost you anywhere between $225.00 and $325.00 (which I think is overpriced on the higher end) but for that price you get a an established glove maker who makes a product that most of us Freddy fans already have in our collections. The problem is..you're not going to be able to find a nice glove and save money, at least not one that's high quality. There are nice gloves out there that you can get at a deal but they "imo" are not something I would put on display...those are the gloves I would want to use to run around on Halloween with and take down and play with. I guess what I'm trying to say, is I understand you're trying to save money, but if you want to roll with the big dogs and get the uber nice stuff you're going to have to pay the price for it. My advice would be to save up the cash and get Either Ken, Chris at Topshelf *now the new kruegear* or Anders @ www.nightmaregloves.com.Hope this helps you out,Joseph
