From what I've heard it's not a remake but a prequel of sorts. Anyhow, I don't have much interest in this project. Like mentioned earlier, the use of the FVSJ writers is preventing me from getting my hopes up for this one. I never cared much for the potato sack look either, part 2 was a good movie but the elephant man thing Jason wore didn't work for me.
