I'm not saying what they came up with is mindblowing or anything but whats the point of doing something again if you do it the exact same way?......Watch the PSYCHO remake if you wanna get my point. Look at the TCM remake.......different mask...still badass.............Larry<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI can answer that Larry. For me, I'm not speaking for others here, it's been a LONG time since a true Jason has been on the screen. Especially considering that I am bias to the pre-Hodder era. So far the mask has been different in every movie since part 4. The mask is very important to the film . . . probably much more than it should be, but there's nothing that can be done about that now. When they released photos of the new old Crystal Lake sign, I was VERY impressed and excited. Someone took the time to sit down and recreate it. That to me shows dedication and a real nod to the fans and movie itself. They could've easily given us something like the crappy FvJ camp sign or even the Jason Lives Camp Blood sign. Why not do the same with the hockey mask? I and many, many fans would have been so impressed if that had been the case . . . that someone took it upon themselves to recreate something we haven't seen in years. The movie itself will deviate far enough from the originals anyway.
