It's still sturdy but you could bend the blades if you tried. I currently use 16 gauge steel but it only comes mirrored on one side. To get it on the other side, I'd either have to polish them by hand or have them done professionally. Either way, it'd get expensive to get thick mirrored blades and I want to keep my costs low to keep my prices low.
