Hi all. Since everyone is posting their thoughts on the matter, I just wanted to add a few final thoughts from a customer's point of view. First off I want everyone to know that this wasn't intended to turn into a "let's bash Mark" thread in any way. It was simply a way to get in touch with him as I had exhausted all other avenues, and as a means to that end it was a success. I know that many of you have dealt with Mark in the past, and I've read a lot of great testimonials about his glove-making skills. On the other end of the spectrum, I've read countless posts about artists who were considered reputable simply falling off the face of the earth and taking everyone's money with them. This is why I'm a firm believer in the importance of communication, especially when your dealing with someone for the first time. Ruste Dowg summed up my thoughts on the matter better than I ever could in that "keeping people posted of no progress is better than no contact at all". Wait times are relatively unimportant to me as long as I can get an occasional update without feeling like I'm out of line for asking. Anyway, sorry to have been so long-winded. I sincerely hope that no one was too offended by any of the statements made in this thread, and I appreciate the comments from everyone, artists and customers alike.
