Yeah I made sure to coat the entire arm all the way down to the ends, although you lose some flexibility. But stretching can cause cracks. But gloves cover that area most likely anyway. Did you use acrylic paints? Also how did you connect the pieces to the shirt? Glue, or sewed? What are the pieces made from, fabric? Did you also use a gloss, they look shiny?I may experiment with gloss acrylic paint to see how it works for a wet look. However I love mod podge, and I like where there is very small areas of the glue showing clearish white, as it is looks like oozing pus.
