okay.let's see if i can shed some light on this one. The whole purpose of a production mold is to have one solid mold instead of a two part mold. You don't have to worry about clamping the mold together. You also don't have to worry about having to trim down a seam line on every single mask you make. You use the master copy of the mask, after you have done all the seam trimming, filling, dremelling, etc...and make a one piece production mold of it...I would just use the same plaster you used for the 2 part mold, and maybe add some burlap in between coats to give it more durability...take care,Tommy
