Just run the hair through your fingers?<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI actually bought real light brown hair dye by L'Oréal and I applied it after laying my rows of hair. I just massaged it in as instructed and let it sit for 20 minutes, and then washed it out w/ water. The rows were cut at about 4-5". Be sure to roll the hair and mess it on the ends so it doesn't look cleanly cut. You can even use an xacto knife to run down the hair to give it a natural look on the ends. I actually did the hairline separately b/c the dye makes a mess. I dyed the strands before lying and gluing on the hairline. Blow dry, lightly brush and voila! Lots of work, but it pays off!
