I think they just added more scene's of that nature in the newer Batman's which tended to reminded you of the parents/avenging death aspect more. Burton's Batman kinda just showed you the hardcore importance of those events once, but I still feel it showed heavily that Keaton's Batman carried that burden with him the entire two movies (more so the first one).
