I don't expect it to beat parts 1-6. I really hope they incorporated lots of classic elements of the old films into this one, that'd be pretty cool to see a director that actually cared for the originals in his film. From the trailer, it already has some classic elements.Oh well, only time will tell, and we'll all see February 13th. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /><!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndUh, what?I have no idea where you're coming from with that statement. Part 7 and 8 are "classic" Jason films, created under the "Friday the 13th" title at Paramount. Do NOT get them confused with that New Line crap we've been fed from 1993 to the present day...That's what destroyed the series. In fact, I think The New Blood is one of the best films of that whole bunch. It's very well-made and pays homage to just about every F13 film that came before it. It was even directed by a superfan with a brilliant FX studio! I mean holy shit, this guy even got CRAZY RALPH to come back and do the narration at the beginning of the film!!! Jesus, that's awesome. Just think about that for a moment...Do you really think they'd do something like that nowadays?Cheers,Ryan
