The difference is Zombie STARTED OUT the halloween series. The reason the "remake" means so much is because it set what MICHAEL MYERS and HALLOWEEN means to the new generations to come. I mean I would have been happy with a scene for scene reimaging with a non rotted mask and plain green coveralls...And for those thinking "whats the fun in that..." I have one word for you... Nostalgia.
