He has been a great friend. He went in for surgery 6 weeks ago and after it was over with I talked to him and everything was fine. For what ever reason by the second night he slipped away. He is now in a facility and is completely gone. I dont understand what has happened and am very sad and pissed off. Here is a picture of me and him, as you can see he is older(67) and a smaller guy, he looks huge compared to what he weighs now. Plus now he looks about 20 years older. Sorry to bum everyone out, but I am just sad. One day they are fine the next they are not... Anyone gone through this?Tom<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndWell it is a miracle. My friend Pappy is coming home Wednesday! He was transfered to another facility where he got way better treatment and with in the first 3 days he was turning around for the better. The Dr. was very surprised. I am so happy that he is coming home. He remembers nothing that has gone on for the last 2 months but he remembers me and my wife and everything in his life that was going on before the surgery, he said to me today that he remembered going to bed(the day before the surgery) and then waking up in the place he is in now, so the 2 months are gone from his memory. Here is a picture I took with him today at the place hes at, as you can see he has lost hair and weight, but he will get all that back soon. Thanks to all that I have talked to on here about this.
