Hey everyone! I was lucky enough to attend a screening of the new Friday the 13th movie last night in NYC. I brought my part 8 outfit and snapped some pics around the city. Those are below. As for the screening, the movie was everything i hoped it would be. I got to meet Andrew Form, and Derek Mears, and nicer guys they could not be! I'm not going to spoil anything, so don't be afraid to read. This is, no doubt about it, a new generation of Friday the 13th, however, the movie plays true to what the series is all about. In my opinion Derek Mears' Jason is top notch. This is a very different Jason, but at his soul, you can sense the past generations influence on the character. Reception from the crowd was really great, and it seemed to really please Derek and Andrew. I think whoever is looking forward to this movie, you really have a treat coming your way. Some pics....
