Mint 75 Kirk

After seeing a recent discovery of an original 1975 Kirk on the MM.NET boards, I immediately asked Nik to go to work on one of these bad boys. I'm sure I got on his last nerve with every detail I requested, but he was able to re-create it perfectly with flying colors. I asked him to do the sideburns longer than most Kirks are, (more like the Kirk that was just discovered). I also asked to make the overall base very "fleshy". I then requested that he do slight pink shading around the eyes, lips, ears, etc. Lastly, I asked for the hair to be as soft and accurate as the original 75 Kirks were, and boy did he come through. I can't say enough about this mask. I think it was Larry who said something along the lines of, "I'd much rather have a Kirk replica than an original. That way I can hold it and not have to worry about ruining it.". VERY true! I don't think this mask will ever leave my collection, nor will it be converted.
