They may not be 100% accurate, but they (Dern, I done gone and growed another head) well aren't "extremely cartoonish." Justin follows human anatomy, and sculpts realistically. But this isn't the point... the point of this thread is helping you out. I'd suggest sculpting over and over again, like mybankey said. Don't mold things right away, and when sculpting think about the skull and muscles underneath the skin. That whole "beginner's don't do good sculptures" attitude is what keeps you back man. If you THINK you can sculpt greatly, then I'm sure with enough effort you will do so! I've seen some artists do incredible on there first attempt. You say you want to become an aritst? You can't become an artist just by SCULPTING... You MUST learn the fundamentals (ie: SCULPTING THE HUMAN HEAD!). Buy Mark Alfrey's DVD, sculpting the Human Head, that helped me out a ton. Sure, it's not the character that you'd LIKE to do, but there are steps to getting better.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndWell put, my good friend. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />
