I have faith in the platinum dunes guys...afterall they gave us one of the best remakes out there with the Chainsaw remake and I even really liked the 'beginning' I mean yeah they look like MTV music videos but still good films I think. I think this thing with how the kids look is getting kind of old...I mean, back in the 80's kids dressed a little funny and had big hair with 50 pounds of hair spray and mullets. That was how kids looked back THEN. That's over with now. I agree though they could tone it down a bit with the Abercombie and Fitch models and just use more down to earth looking kids....but it probably won't happen. I like this Haley guy for Freddy, while he has an entirely different look than Englund he also has a VERY distinct looking face that I think will work. Also Clancy Brown is always a plus.
