What a sweetie your wife is, but seriousley DUDE!!! I would have staked claim on this part of the house right away, bar, pool table and collectables, you got a hell of lot of nice space to work with, im a carpenter by trade myself and id love to have the oppuritunity to turn that space into whatever i wanted.
