well if i remember his head doesnt go into the blades at all, it just bounced around near them, in fact the wood chipper was deemed pointless cuz no one went in it, if they have his head messed up then a part 2 would be harder to start, but this way hes all in tact, except im willing to bet he will be more rotted and water logged in the next installment.
