JGTH has a reputation for being the worst in the series but this movie could have been pretty decent had they made it its own movie and left Jason out.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI never really thought of that.. (regarding JGTH).. I don't think I would have "loved" the film as a favorite, but it definately would have been better. Part of the reason I didin't like it is because of the way it tried to "take the reins" on the Jason legend and messed it all up with crap we certainly would have seen before. If it hadn't been Jason, the whole thing would have been easier to swallow, especially with the possession thing happening to someone else. It also would have been interesting because you'd be joining "the bad guy" after he's already made a name for himself, and have a pretty decent history behind it. It would have given the character some depth, and be building from that, rather than kinda' saying.. "yeah he was a killer."However.. it'd still contain the crotch snake thing transforming a dead lady in a waitress outfit into big monstrous dude in overalls with a machete and mask on.. so it wouldn't be TOP of my list, but who knows.. Jason X.. was kinda a joke aimed at itself. On that level it kinda' works for me. The cyber Jason thing? meh.. character progression.. no biggie.. but I like Sci-fi comedy, so maybe that makes a difference... I'd rather that it'd stayed in it's own genre though. It's funny though.. I have friends who ONLY liked Jason X.For the record.. I like all of the Jason movies, it's just that the topic called for least favorite.
