I'm guessing, but there's typically an extra hundred bucks to run power to your booth... might wanna check on that.I can't guess whether you'll make your money back or not.. I figure that you've been advertising it here for weeks now, and only sold one, that's not good, but seeing them in-person might help sales significantly. There's no way to know for sure unless you try. If you share a table, (or rent a corner of someone else's table), at least you'd minimize your risk. You have different size/style bases too.. so I'd bring several base options to go with your boxes, so people can see and "experience" what you offer, rather than try and guess or imagine them. I'd also consider suggesting wall mounted versions of this, but remind buyers they'd have to have to get the wiring run to it unless they're ok with wires trailing out of it.Just while I'm on the topic of your boxes.. you might want to consider various "themes" becond color changes... You know.. stuff that might look like it came from scenes in the film. If Leatherface had a lightbox that he made and treasured (or forgot all about) what would it look like if it was in his workshop? What would pinhead's look like.. black chains glued to the edges, or even dangling off the face, with shark hooks embedded into the wood (for safety). "Skin" stretched between the base and the box like strung tarps. (That might also work as a Leatherface one too) For Jason, you do a Camp themed one maybe.. like what would the Camps owners have made for showing off camp literature or something... maybe VERY crystal Lake specific, or something. That might work pretty well because there's hundreds of jason/F13 pictures that could end up in there over time. Freddy might have one that's striped like his sweater, and/or have claw marks running down one side. The one's you're doing now are VERY compatible with different posters, though you seem to be trying to market them as specific to a particular poster... you might want to steer away from that Although some of these ideas of mine might seem too specialized, it might be worth the effort. When I think "custom" I think "Custom".. you know? But folks have a hard time buying what they can't see... try something new, and take pictures for your portfolio to save it, and then never do that one again unless someone asks for it.Of course, you could also do themes in a more general way.. Like an aged rough-looking wood one for something like.. I dunno.. Hachet.. or F13 Remake, or anything with woods/cabins/docks/etc. Experiment a bit, and try and move away from the standard box you're doing, just try new options.. Maybe disguise the stem on some of them, like a single "all-in-one" unit that looks like a tombstone or something. Mix up the pot, use your imagination, and watch your pricing (it's easy to get carried away and make something more expensive than it'll ever sell for.)When I finish the two I'm doing, I'll pass along pics for you.. (don't worry, I'm not competition) it's a lightbox for a guy's stainless Steel diner he's making (in his garage.. in New Zealand.. yes, a private diner.. in his home's private 8 car multilevel garage/arcade.. sigh.. dont get me started) Anyways.. the theme is to go along with the diner without "sticking out" like a sore thumb.. I designed the rest of the cladding too, so it's a snap..
