It's like that with Jason and it's the same w/ Michael. H1 and H2 were awesome, the character was scary as hell because in your mind you could place him in real-life situations. The same principle applies to the F13 movies in my opinion. Kane was a bit too big and over the top. And zombies are fictional so a lot of people are not afraid of them... but watching an average sized human with deformities wielding a machete at anything in his way can really get to your nerves. I do not like the direction they've gone in horror w/ these slashers getting bigger, faster, stronger, meaner.
