Derek was my favorite, but 2nd place would be Kane in Part 7, Followed by Brooker, followed by CJ, and then back to Kane again.Derek had that Brooker thing going, but just seemed angrier and more aggressive. I dunno' if that makes him "better" than Brooker because the directing was different.Kane in 7 was a great stiff angry zombie. He seemed relentless, and yet, humanly "surprised" at times.. but he became more and more "supernatural" (beyond the zombie-ness) in future films, and he became kind of a parody of himself.. though the intro to Part 10 was awesomely done in my opinion. However, how much of that was him, and how much of it was the director? As a masked actor, the deal is to react believably, with consistency, and a bit of focus on the physical movements/mannerisms, but the specifics of "how" you act is directed. As far as liking a Jason overall, including acting and how he was directed, I liked the remake version of Jason, and hated the VS version (which really can't be blamed on Ken..)I guess the guy that had to work the hardest (overall), and got the best results from it is Steve Dash.. He trained by running around in the woods with an eyepatch on so that he'd be beleivable, and so you'd forget about how difficult and awkward the act of doing that really is. If they get back to a Zombie version of Jason.. I'd love to see Kane doing it.. Anyone else will probably be directed to imitate Kane anyways. No one does Kane better than Kane.
