I'm an eternal skeptic myself, but I try to keep an open mind. I've had a few unnerving experiences, but I've always been able to find a reasonable explanation for them in the end. I'm a big fan of Ghost Hunters, GHI, the A Haunting series, etc., but I've personally never been on a ghost hunt. It's definitely something I would like to try one day. I guess the closest I've ever come to being truly freaked out was several months ago. It was very early in the morning, around 5 a.m. if I remember right. I work second shift, so I basically stay up all night / morning and sleep during the day. Anyway, I was sitting in my recliner watching television when I felt the chair start to shake. It was nothing crazy, but it was definitely enough to get my attention. My first thought was a sudden gust of wind shaking the house, but when I opened the door it was still as it could be outside. There was also absolutely no traffic at that time of the morning. I have to admit it was a little unnerving at the time. Well, the next afternoon on the way in to work I was listening to a local radio station and heard them talking about the earthquake that occurred in the early morning hours. It didn't even cross my mind at the time because I live in Ohio, and while we do have the occasional earthquake, most of them are not strong enough to be felt at all. So that was my one and only ghost story, and it turned out to be nothing more than mother nature. I have to admit it was a little disappointing.
