Having shipped a couple of hundred of gloves, I have never had a problem with my gloves poking through the box. I completely wrap the entire thing in bubblewrap and pad the bottom of the box with scrap paper and place the glove blades down into the box (I use the USPS Priority Mail Shoebox for shipping). I then place more scrap paper on the side of the glove so it doesn't bounce around.
