If I go to the theaters any time soon, it will be to see District 9. I already know what this new Rob Cummings' garbage is all about, and the motivations behind its creation. I will never see this "film", and I won't loose any sleep over it either. I gave the first remake a shot out of loyalty to the franchise, but I quickly learned that the current powers that be are a completely different and inferior breed. Never again will I make that mistake, or waste my time and hard earned money on cinematic garbage. I am perfectly content watching the original <!--coloro:#FFA500<!--/coloroHalloween<!--colorc<!--/colorc series(accept for Resurrection <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" />) till my heart's content. From what the critics are saying, and the poor box office results from their opening weekend, it appears I am not the only one who feels that way either. To think they moved the date to August because they were scared to go up against Saw 18 in October, and they still managed to be annihilated by Final Destination 3D. Way to go! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> <!--coloro:#FFA500<!--/coloroLong live John Carpenter!<!--colorc<!--/colorc -s
