I used GE silicon with acrylics mixed. I also mixed oatmeal, frosted flakes, and cotton into the silicon to various parts of the undersuit pieces, just to give it some nasty looking textures. I coved all the seem lines from the gore chest, the spine, and the rubies parts, so they are all flush.
