You really can't compare the remake to the 1980 original, the remake is more 'Friday the 13th Part II/III' and the originals would still be victorious. PS-The original 1980 movie did not suck! If you think that, you need to go back and re-watch all of the earlier 1980 slashers and stay any from "Scream." <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"

I recently heard someone say (can't remember where) that Scream was the first slasher movie to really reboot the horror movie franchise and "take it back to it's roots". I was like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? I love Wes Craven but BOO @ Scream! IMO, that whole franchise was a steaming piece of crap, plus I think Neve Campbell has a face that just begs for someone to punch it while she's making one of her faces. She over acts more than Jim Carrey and that's a lot of over acting.-Joseph
