I was personally underwhelmed by the makeup when I first saw it. I wanted more open wounds. I'm surprised to see that they made him look mostly healed from the burns. I was expecting the burns to look realistic but freshly made. I like the makeup but it left me wanting more. Maybe if Freddy gets lit up again, they can redo his makeup in a sequel.
