Yeah, I really like 3D in movies mostly as long as its used to help tell the story and not steal from it. Like how they used CGI to create the liquid terminator in Terminator 2. They didn't overdo it, or use it for novelty, and it feels really natural in the film and enhances the plot. I saw Pixar's 'UP' in 3D, 'Coraline' in 3D, 'Toy Story' 1 and 2 in 3D, 'My Bloody Valentine 3D', 'Monsters VS Aliens 3D', and some more i can't remember. I wouldn't see any of these movies (besides Toy Story) in 2D instead of 3D given the choice. I just saw 'Up' again at home, and even though i have a nice screen and sound system, it wasn't the same. I didn't feel as engaged as the director intended. As for 'My Bloody Valentine', I liked it in 3D, but it was the only 3D movie that gave me a headache. Maybe it was my theater. But i did like the use of 3D as a novelty in it. It felt at home in the cheesy 80's horror flick homage. But yeah, 3D rocks.
