David actually did not make the gloves for the films ( as he will himself tell you) but he did create the original Freddy Make up. The original gloves were created by Jim Doyle, Lou Carlucci, Ryan Effner and a few other crew guys on the FX teams depending on the production.
Just an interesting tid bit, but David has some really nice items. I hope to get one of his masks someday.
