You'd have to be extremely stupid to do that. Maybe they did it for the part 3 teaser trailer (which you can see on youtube). It looks like they might have done that so the glove fit on the mannequin hand...I don't know. Whatever the reason, it really pisses me off.If I owned the glove, I would seriously consider having it restored (new ringlets, leather glove, and possibly removing the black splatter paint with a new finish). I think I'd offer Lou some cash to do it himself to keep it as authentic as possible.
