I have a few points here, just my own here. Firstly it is insanely incredible that whomever ended up with this piece of history let anyone know he has it. Secondly, thanks to Mark for pointing out all of the details to show US all here the proof we usually require to be prved something is authentic or not.The whole restoration issue shouldn't have even arose, to have an actual piece of horror history and to rape it by a new finish or whatever is just stupid in any TRUE COLLECTORS opinion. please understand where I am coming from. I have thoands and thousands of dollars of props, but none are screen used. By all means this thing would have a custom case with a special ventilation system to STOP any further aging. The green (oxidation that occurs naturally in most metals) needs to slow or stop......Now someone asked about the whole fact this glove was stolen, well this is somewhat my expertise. Depending on state statutes it would all depend. Someone whould have to in fact show proof that the authorities were called and REPORTED the glove stolen back when it originally came up missing. Now here is the problem, STATUTE OF LIMITATION. now there is a guideline for all crimes committed and giving a period of time that the law can be upheld and punish someone or in fact make whomever has this return it. I can honestly say most states to rob a bank is 7 years to get the money or the theif after that the money belongs to whomever finds it or has it, so you can be assured that it would take an act of god to get the NEW owner to have to return this artifact!!!This is all opinion with some fact, so take it as you'd like..congrats to the lucky SOB who owns this, ya golly gee willikers well better cherish this!!!A huge thanks to Mark for his detective work!!!!Tank
