The issue that started this conversation was about a guy saying it's out of character for the living Freddy to be fearful and proclaiming innocence. Who says Freddy wouldn't be afraid of an angry mob of parents? The only time we really saw Freddy being burned originally was in Freddy's Dead and we know how much of a joke that was. Tadpole demons anyone? I would imagine Freddy suffering and screaming while being burned to death. I think that's one of Freddy's driving forces. Even Robert Englund said he used the fact that these teens are beautiful and young yet Freddy is disfigured and he used that as a source of anger while playing the character. Freddy is pissed about being burned alive so the reaction of JEH's Freddy while running from the mod seems rather realistic to me.
