Beasties very first tour.~Jonny<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndwhen that tour came through tn, my dad (a police officer) had a call at the hotel in which both the beastie boys and run dmc were staying. apparently run dmc was having a big party and the music was too loud. when my dad got there, angry parents of an underage girl were outside in the lobby. they were furious because their daughter was at the party and wouldnt come out. all of the beastie boys were down stairs, as well, talking about how crazy it was upstairs and they wanted absolutely nothing to do with what was going on. they told my dad they were crazy on stage, but as far as their personal life, they were all really laid back and tried not getting into too much trouble.long story short, my dad went upstairs to get the girl and laid down the law to a couple of the guys from run dmc. they tried acting tough and claiming they wouldnt let the girl go if she didnt want to go, but as soon as they found out she was underage, they were more than willing to let her parents into the room and take her home. lol
