Hey, funny thing is I was planning on posting an update in the next few days. I am most definitely still putting in as much time as I can on this piece, learning as I go. No need to fear about me ever putting this project down. After all the investments of time, hard work, and personal sacrifice, nothing is going to stop me from finishing this, and making it available to collectors. I have been working the past few weeks on painting. A lot of learning involved in this process, much like every step prior. <img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1985.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />I apologize for the less than stellar lighting, I just took this after reading the thread. Needless to say, I am practicing skin-tones. This is an opaque casting, mainly for the purposes of practicing said paint process (I still intend on producing this in translucent resin). I am not 100% happy with this skin tone, as I think it looks a little too orange (it looks almost cartoonish to me under fluorescent lighting). So, I am going to clean this one off, and start again using what I've learned to produce a more lifelike skin tone (of coarse adding subtle sinister embellishment to the realism). So, I am not quite there yet, but I am creeping ever closer now to completion. Thanks Mike & Jason for the support, and continued interest! I won't let you down!
