Regardless of HOW they came off, I just found it quite interesting that they ARE off. I can't seem to find a good photo showing if the pinky ringlet is still there or not, though. But I am certain that the index finger's ringlet still remains. Maybe it was a comfort issue. To speak plainly, I think the Part 1 glove is a bit awkward in terms of how it feels when worn. And that problem mainly comes with the length of the fingers and also the lower finger ringlets. It restricts your movement quite a bit. Maybe glove makers can start making Part 2 gloves without the lower ringlets too? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />One thing I've noticed that is very hard to replicate is getting the backplate to lift up off of the back of the hand like in the scene where he's driving the bus. It pulls the leather on the wrist area up above the pull-strap and I believe that is what makes the glove look so short on Robert's wrist. You'd think that would be easy to replicate but to this day, I still can't seem to get my gloves, or anyone else's gloves, to do that consistently.
