VERY lucky actually, nasty as hell and doesn't hurt any less, but that is a 'flesh wound' Just got down to the subcutaneous fat layer, under that lies the quad muscleature, and most critical, the femoral artery. Not to mention many other veins and arteries that'd be pumpin blood out faster the Greg Nicotero with a pressure hose Go REAL REAL easy on that leg for the first couple weeks, ripping stitches out can hurt just as much as the initial injury Definitely deserves a few beers, don't go overboard though, alchohol is a vascular constrictor, and the more blood flow to the aera, the faster platelets build up, the faster the heal time is!
