I always wondered what happened to that hole because they don't exist on the finished product. Are the blades really ground down that far, because on the pictures above it looks like they sit slightly off center? It seems like grinding that much off of the blade to make it fit onto the tip would be taking a bit too much off. Is it just an optical illusion that I'm seeing? Does anyone else see what I'm talking about? If you watch its not showing him soldering just heating it up.
