funny thing i never knew about the mask was , is it muddy as he was buried and it was raining real hard in the begining or was the paint just cracking off real bad over time ? Some masks i've seen where it looks like the paint is cracking off like an old building losing some paint and then there's some with heavy brown paint coming down the mask as if it were mudd .
