Like Joe said, I was born in '91 and my FAVORITE's of the franchise are N1, N2 and New Nightmare. I never watch any of the other ones because they are just horrible. How far they started deviating from the original direction and cinematography just ruins the movies for me. I know they're sequels, they are what they are, but I don't find much enjoyment in them. Especially Freddy in VS, strayed so far from the original Freddy. As the Friday the 13th debate has occured, I'd have to consider Part 1 and 2 the only "A Nightmare on Elm Street" Films (hell, maybe 3 as well) and 4-VS as "Freddy Films".<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndSee, I found Part 2 dark, which is was great, but the problem is, Part 2 broke ALL the Nightmare rules, allowing Freddy to manipulate the outside world, while people were not dreaming (like making parrots explode into flames lol). It just didn't stay true to the folklore of Freddy which is the reason I put it after parts 1,3,4, an d 7. Rich
