Official Noes Remake Review Thread!

here goesBad: storyline felt rushed, no real character development, a few cgi burns, again the cgi effects get rid of them, the scare your girlfriend jolts of noise were over the top, the parents acting was horrible.Good: the teens if you want to call them that, there acting was good. story followed the original close enough for me, more back story and they drove the fact freddy was a molester in with a hammer and stake. not sure if thats a good thing lol, but atleast there is no confusion.Jackie earle haley: if you can get past the fact that hes 5 foot nothing with a gaint head he played a pretty good freddy. the more i watched him as the story went on the more i liked his protrayal... i still dont see anyone doing it like Robert though. he will always be freddy.all and all i liked the movie, i read a few reviews around the internet and i expected a big pile. so i was surprised it was well done. if you condsider the original to be a 10 out of 10.. then i would say this remake is a solid 6.5 out of 10. definitely better then halloween and friday the 13th remakes.
