damn man that sucks. Sorry to hear it Trav. It does seem like less and less people are coming around each year.
My dad got someone good last night. He left the front door open and the house all dark with a chair and bowl of candy on it. And we had the theme from HALLOWEEN blasting out of the house on repeat. Then he hid in the bushes across the street in my Myers costume, (complete with 6 bullet holes in the chest, lol) When people would come the kids would go up to the chair but the mothers would stand down on the sidewalk. My dad would walk up behind them quitely and just stand there. When the kids would come down from the porch they\'d freeze up looking behind thier parents, which of course made them turn around. OH, you should have seen some of the screams and terror and candy dropped and people running. I was so proud of my dad. He\'s like 50, but last night he was definetely a kid again.
I also learned something about scaring people by watching from a distance. I was dressed as Jason, so I basically stalked people down and scared them that way. But my dad actually had alot of patience and would choose his targets and stalk them quitely and patiently. Maybe his 25 years in the army taught him some of that. But anyway, his coming from the background quite stalk was really effective and he got some huges screams this year. So next year I\'m thinking I wanna be Myers, lol.
Sorry to make this such a long post, but ol\' Dad did me proud last night and I thought I\'d share.
