"Drill baby drill!" haha. Yeah we're going to see repercussions from this for years, maybe decades to come. Go ahead and boycott BP (I don't often buy their gas anyway) but while you do that you may as well boycott every other oil company. It was a combination of selfish stupidity and bad luck that caused this disaster for BP, but I'm sure it could have easily been any other oil company. Its the corporate culture that is sick, not any particular business entity.And yes, I think this is Obama's Katrina, mostly because of his sluggish response. Once the leak happened, it was too late to do anything anyway, I mean god they were shooting golf balls into the thing at one point. The shocking lack of foresight is the real problem, and it seems people never learn. Why weren't they prepared for what you think would have been an obvious potential disaster? They just didn't care, no one thinks bad things will happen to them.
